Chef Caitlin was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
She began her storied career at LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan (made famous by the movie Fame), rising to the Theatre Arts Conservatory Program at the University of Miami. Already fluent in Spanish, she took a semester abroad at the University of Madrid in Spain
focusing on Art History and European History,
preceding a 7 month tour of 17 countries.
Returning from parts unknown, she was accepted to
"Les Halles" where celebrity Chef Anthony Bourdain was the Executive Chef. Finding her passion for food she went on to attend Le Cordon Bleu in Miami, Florida. She again returned to New York at restaurant "Pastis", located in Manhattan's Historic Meat Packing District.
Caitlin was picked up by Chef David Bouley, a Michelin star rated Chef awarded with the Most Outstanding Chef in the United States Award by the James Beard Foundation. Caitlin worked at his flagship restaurant "Bouley" until promoted to his Test Kitchen where she had the pleasure of cooking for a former
US President and various celebrities.
Chef Caitlin has been exciting the Poconos since July of 2010.
Her previous work has included Executive Chef at both
Pub 570 in Bushkill and The Top of the World Restaurant in Saw Creek Estates. Caitlin is excited to find "her home base" here at Mullally's where the diversity of the business and clientele allows her and her staff to exercise their creative cooking skills and passion to please.
